Hi, everyone!

Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!

I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?

Yes, trust me, I felt the same going in! I'm sure everyone does! There's just too much info and it all seems important, but they really only test on things they cover in lecture and the objectives. Sometimes they'll emphasize things in class briefly so pay attention to that as well. They have an exam plan on canvas and it'll tell you how many questions each professor gets on the lecture portion of the exam. It's usually like 15-25 questions per professor per exam.. so they really cannot cover every single chapter they make you read. Rule of thumb: if they don't mention it (even briefly) and if its not part of the objectives it most likely won't be on the exam.

Hi has anyone been able to open NRN 11 canvas course It says its published, but from some reason I can add NRN11A to my dashboard but not the NRN11.

Does anyone know if they're lenient on the first week's KSA LOL. I feel like I'm overthinking and doing everything wrong.

From what I’ve heard, they’re not lenient at all LOL It’s either complete or it isn’t ? and if they think it isn’t complete, you get kicked out of class for the day and they assign you a 2 page reflective paper/make up work. This also happens if you’re late or tardy ?

Oh WOW! yikesss. I'm gonna complete them. I just don't know if I'm completing them right LOL WOW! this is stressful.

Complete the passports and you should be good to go.

Hello, for those already in the program, is the first semester online or do you have to show up to class? what has it been like so far? I am thinking of working the first semester.
