RCC Nursing Fall 2020

Hi, everyone!

Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!

I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?

I just registered and lab is from 10:30a-1pm.

The fee almost killed me, I can’t believe that one class (3 units) was almost $2,500!!

Btw, was the $2,500 shown on your student center? Because on my account, it says I owe only $2,020 but not including some fees. When I looked on the CSUF website prices which include the fees, it's still only about $2,300.

when you were looking for the classes did you click “bachelors” or “postbachelors”?

Its $400 cheaper if its your first time getting your bachelor's degree. Also the $250 deposit was part of the tuition fee.

If anyone still needs to do their CPR, I did it with Greg at Advanced Emergency Training and it was only $45 without the book (I just downloaded the book for free somewhere online to my tablet).

The payment for CSUF is due on August 14. Do you guys know if we’re getting our financial aid before then or would we have to pay out of pocket to make the first payment?

I doubt we would. I was planning on making the first payment out of pocket.

If by Aug 13th you don’t have a financial aid offer on the CSUF student portal, you also have the option of singing up for the payment plan. You pay approx $800 over 3 months (Aug 14th, Sept 14th, Oct 14th). And meanwhile, your financial aid comes through. Just a suggestion....just in case $$$
