Hi, everyone!
Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!
I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?
Has anyone heard back from --------------? I am worried since today is the last day to get cleared for clinical.

I haven’t heard from her either. I just emailed ----------------- what should we do cause the deadline for registry into clinical groups are due tomorrow.
I emailed ----- --------for Complio clearance on 07/23/2020, and she got back to me 08/04/2020. I then emailed --------------- the same day I got health records clearance from ----------------, and she got back to me 08/05/2020 for full registration clearance.

Honestly taking thorough notes on the readings takes so long. It used to take me like a whole day to complete like one chapter when I was taking notes on every single thing. Don't do that or you'll waste so much time, trust me. Focus on the objectives, the powerpoint slides, and anything covered during lecture. Since you haven't had lecture, focus on the objectives while reading and just highlight any info directly related to the objects as well as any supporting info related to THAT info. Then go back and take notes on what you highlighted and add onto your notes during lecture. Trust me, ---------------------- assigns a lot of chapters that are mostly pointless and she never even covers or tests on unless its directly related to the objectives or she mentions it in class. Hope that makes sense?

Thank you!! I was doing my notes and realized there was so much info and didn’t know what to focus on and I didn’t want to write everything down but yes that makes a lot of sense!
