RCC Nursing Fall 2020

Hi, everyone!

Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!

I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?

I haven't gotten any email like that but if you took all of your classes at RCCD (RCC, MVC, or Norco), you don't have to submit a transcript, they have it all on file. If you did, however, take classes outside of RCCD, you'd have to provide a transcript.

I misspoke and meant to say syllabi. I was asked to provide that in order to see the classes I took were up to par with RCC’s classes I assume.

Hi guys. Since the cutoff of the CEP program was 71, do you guys think the cutoff for the regular ADN program will be higher or lower?or does anyone know what the cut off for the ADN program was?

Usually ADN has a higher cut off. CEP is lower because not everyone has taken the classes to enter as it's a new program, so there's less competition.

Yah I received that email too. I replied back with 6/8 syllabi she was asking for. I couldn't find the others (it was from many years ago). I'm not sure why they would need the syllabi though.

I heard some schools are waiting until the end of April or beginning of May to announce results. I really hope that we will find out sooner for RCC. The waiting is killing me!

No idea. I'm thinking maybe once they open the school again (April 30th) ?

They have send some if the CEP result out today! Has anyone else heard from them.

Yes, I got it just now. What in the world in the conditional acceptance to CEP?

Does it mean alternative or we are accepted?

Its conditional because we first have to pass our background check and health requirement before officially becoming a nursing student.
