RCC Nursing Fall 2020

Published

Hi, everyone!

Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!

I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?

CONGRATS! I got an 84%, so that puts me at 78 pts for the program.

25/30 points on the TEAS section is still great! Congrats ? How many points are you applying with now?

I'll have 74 points going in. I think that was the cut off last time. But I applied for CEP and that was much higher. I'll just have to wait and see.

Really? I've been hearing that the cut off for CEP is actually lower than the ADN cut off, due to being fairly new and not having as many applicants (of course, the amount of people applying for CEP is growing).

I am sorry to ask you, but how did you get that information because almost everyone on forums say the opposite

I was reading on Spring 2020 forum that it increased. I saw some ppl in the high 70s and 80s. But maybe its not the average. Sorry if I got it wrong!

All they said was by June.

I talked to one of the professors, they said the cut off for CEP last semester was 70. The semester before that was 63

I just spoke to one of the professors at RCC and was told that the cut off last time was 70. But they said it might be more this time.

Does anybody know which enrollment criteria are they using for the points?

The point criteria sheet is somewhere on the RCC SON PowerPoint.
