Hi, everyone!

Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!

I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?

Are you guys ready for the TEAS this Friday? lol.

Specializes in nursing.

I would say I'm pretty confident in all areas except I'm struggling the most with science. I took A & P and chemistry so long ago I forgot so much of it.

I took A&P last year at RCC, & just finished micro in fall of 2019. I struggle most with the English. Out of all the practice tests I've done, reading seems to be a hit or miss. Some passages are just way easier to comprehend than others.

I agree the English is harder than I thought it would be. Also, some of the answers for the reading section seem a bit subjective to me. I mean how do you study reading anyways. Lol.

Does anyone know how they are calculating the science and gen ed portions? Is it a range or do you have to hit the mark?

It's by range. For example, if you get a 3.6 GPA on the science portion, it will still count as a 3.5 and you'll get the points for that. Same for the gen ed points.

For those of you who have taken the TEAS, what did you guys score?

I got 90. You?
