Hello! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is applying for the RN program at Riverside City College for Fall 2019! Let's all chat! :)

That’s a great score, especially since the actual test is supposed to be easier than the practice tests. I bought the practice tests too, but haven’t taken them yet. For some reason I’m nervous about those, too ?

Take it ASAP it's a huge help and points out your weak spots

I’ll do it today and will let you know how I do. ?

I just finished practice test A and got an 82. I made a few stupid mistakes that I could have totally avoided, but I definitely need to brush up on math!

Hi everyone! ?

I attended the pre-nursing workshop at MoVal CC today! Just FYI, J mentioned that most students with a science GPA of 3.3 or above were invited to take the TEAS at RCC this application period, Feb 13th and Feb 14th. J also mentioned that for Fall 2019, students admitted into the Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) will be doing the ADN/BSN with RCC/CSU Fullerton, while those applying for Spring 2020 CEP, students will be doing their ADN/BSN with RCC/CSU San Bernardino. Estimated costs would be between $12K-$15K for CEP, compared to the ADN cost of $6K. Also, those students who hold a bachelor’s degree are waived from the Political Science/History requirement. Let me know if you have any questions! And good to those taking the TEAS next week! ?

@mtorr013 thanks so much for sharing this information!!

Has anyone calculated their points yet? How are you guys looking

If I calculated my points right (and I think I did), I'm sitting at 51 points pre-TEAS.

Based on the current criteria I'm at 76 points with a TEAS score of 82.

Did anyone apply for both the regular and concurrent path programs?

I'm at around 76-80 points. @gnt_93

I applied to both the regular and CEP! The only class I didn't have done was poli sci, but I applied anyway lol. But it sounds like poli sci is going to be waived if we have a BA/BS, thankfully!

That's awesome! I am also applied for both and hoping to get in to the CEP?

great. I applied for both also. Do you know when we got accepted or denied? by mail or email? thank you.

Is anyone taking the TEAS tomorrow? morning? Good luck and let us know how it goes! :) I’m so nervous to take mine Thursday!
