Rcc fall 2017 applicants

So I haven't found a thread for fall, so I'm going to start this one so if anyone wants to chat let's all start here...

The criteria when applying was different the math statistics points is new and it says revised 2/17. I wonder where the one for this semester is.

Does the statistics one not apply for fall 2017? I know it states, revised 2/17 but there is nothing indicating it doesn't apply to Fall 2017.

Hello

I looked at the slide show that's for the lvn-RN step up priority selection there are two point systems in the slide. RN doesn't require stats but the second slide shows you get points for it that's under lvn.

is this what you guys are referring to?

The powerpoint has a a point system, but there is an updated version on RCC's website. The updated version shows you get 2 points if you completed Statistics with a C or better. The updated version is found under "ADN Information Sheet".

How many points are you all applying with (not including your TEAS score)? I'm trying to get a feel for the strength of the applicant pool.

I last minute added the nursing info class for more points because I am too confused about the new points criteria. Now does the new one on the website apply to us or the old one with statistics? If that's the case I have 71 points with the old and like 62 with the new í ½í¸ž

I also added to the class last minute just in case I don't get in this time I'll get the extra points for the next application period...there's a different point criteria for this application period. You can ask Steve Purdy for a copy.

Actually I talked to Steve today he said since we applied in January the point system on the website doesn't apply to us. The last one that was up on the website applied to us. He then told me that the new point system would be in effect for us applicants in the fall if we don't get in June. If that's the case I have more points with this point system than the new. I have 71
