Hello everyone! I also applied for the fall semester. I just found out about the new point system through this thread!! I went from having 60 points before the teas to 53 points. Now I'm really feeling the pressure to do good on the teas. I don't even know if doing good will be enough now.

You and me both, Susiedlcs. Without a solid TEAS score, I don't stand a chance.
Just received my TEAS invite!

Don't stress out, just focus on you TEAS exam do extremely well on it. I got accepted into SWC I was an alternate at the time it took exactly 30 days to find out I was in. The letters with responses had to be turned in on march 28th I found out April 5th I was offered a space. Just take it one step at a time don't stress about the exam, or being accepted its not worth it. Just focus on positive energy and it will happen! Good luck to you all and know you will be accepted to a school!
lol, I think you're the only one happy about the new point system. Good for you though. It actually helps me some too, but I still have to do well on TEAS to have a chance. I'm delaying it as far as I can.

Study your English, Math, and Reading, all of that is identical to the practice the Science portion is very random so you either remember it or you don't the questions aren't the same they are totally random and even harder than the class questions. I focused on the other ones and got a 91% in the math portion! Try to do good in all but if you keep staying at the same score amp up the studying on the easier subjects to you so that you get that extra few percent points.

How many points did you have to be invited? The point system just for this semester is not on the site anymore.
I wasn't invited but I knew I wouldn't so scheduled the TEAS through ATI

It's based on your science gpa
Does anyone have the point breakdown for Fall 2017? The one in the PowerPoint is for Spring 2018 and I remember them saying it would change for that cohort. The TEAS invite email also said the TEAS is worth a possible 35 points toward our application - I swear it was just 30...

The point system is listed on RCC's nursing website. Click on ADN information sheet on the right side.
The criteria when applying was different the math statistics points is new and it says revised 2/17. I wonder where the one for this semester is.
