So I haven't found a thread for fall, so I'm going to start this one so if anyone wants to chat let's all start here...
Hi everyone :) The first day is approaching pretty quickly and I hope I'm not the only that feels slightly unprepared and nervous! Is there anyone in the Highland/Redlands or San Bernardino area that is willing to meet up and get prepared together? I know we had boot camp a few days ago but it would be so helpful to start connecting now than later! Please message me if you're kinda stressing out too and need some friends lol

Hi maritza. I'm in the same boat as you. I actually live in Highland so I'm glad there's someone else in the area. I don't think we can PM each other until we get to 15 posts though. But I think I might be able to email you. I'll try and see what happens. Congrats getting in!!
Hello, not sure if anyone will still see this since it was last years thread, but I am hoping some may. I figured this thread would be the best to ask since you all just went through it. I recently decided to go back to school for nursing. I am 3 prerequisites away from being able to apply. My question is how many times did you have to apply to get in and how many points did you have? It seems like 80 is minimum. I am just curious if I should put my time in at RCC or just pay and go to another school where I could get right in.
My recommendation would be to finish your prerequisites and take the teas and apply. Also if you are doing any volunteer work for any of the affiliated hospitals you can get them to write a letter of recommendation. I think I might have had less than 80 points and people have gotten in with less so don't give up hope. You can also apply at other schools in the area like San Bernardino. RCC has one of the best nursing schools in the country though so I would t give up. You can't get a better education at the price. I'm in my second semester now and I am so happy I didn't give up. Good luck!!!
