  1. Congratulations!!!
  2. Hi, I'm not a nursing student yet, but I was also accepted two both programs. I chose mt sac because its a has a good reputation locally, and it seems like they have a student support system like nursing tutors and open door policies. Really, most CCs have good reputations around here. I sent you a PM.
  3. Hi, Did you receive the package via snail mail or email?
  4. Do you guys know how soon after orientation we will be split to T/W or F/S groups? I'm trying to figure out my schedule
  5. Good looking out!
  6. Did you guys get an email to confirm that they received your acceptance email?
  7. Not even private for-profits will take you? Try ADN programs?
  8. As you know, micro and phys are difficult and time consuming classes. Take the extra semester to to finish strong. What's the rush? You don't get extra points for taking summer courses or finishing early. I'm surprised your school offers micro in the summer. If you're in LA, you know that public schools are competitive, and already the core science courses are heavily weighted. Take the time to make As so that you give yourself the best chance at being accepted into your first choice school. Bro, si se puede!
  9. Accepted. What excites you guys the most about attending mt sac?
  10. It sounds like he and you have a close working relationship if he felt comfortable showing you his phone, have him on snap, and he helps you with patients. Why couldn't you have then asked him directly and in a confidential matter if he was really high? Why not warn him or talk to him as a colleague before going to the charge nurse and MD to start an investigation?
  11. Yes. I use it to get a feel for the professor, what are some dos and don'ts, how many people are passing with As, and the workload. Generally, if there are a lot of negative reviews or if the workload is unusually heavy or if the professor is known for outbursts, I try to avoid those classes. I also talk to class mates at school that have taken said classes before to confirm the reviews. I've posted my fair share of positive reviews on the site and only one negative review. So, it's not always disgruntled students that post.
  12. Bump. I had my appointment today. Looks like I'm in. It's all pretty quiet until orientation, I guess. Do you guys have any tips or go to places to study (don't say library) for new students to Mt. sac?
  13. Here you go, RCC.pdf - DocDroid I uploaded the PDF that came from RCC for fall 2017.
