Mt Sac nursing fall 2017
Thank you for sharing! I have 3 children and childcare has always helped me. Does anyone know what ages do they accept child care in their location?

Mt Sac Nursing Program 2017
No worries, :) Thank you for your concern! I am a great student and I work very hard, so I am confident my turn will come with faith. I do have other options that I've considered. E.g I have a 3.41 in my overall GPA and according to the Nursing counselor last semester I need 1-2 classes with A to increase my GPA to a 3.5 which would give me those extra 5 points. I am taking my transfer classes now and aiming for those A and the rest I will take in the summer. I know I will be cutting it short, but I am going to try that out. However, I still have "hope" for the Fall 2017 semester. Oh and I can also retake anatomy in another school and get an A and can get 5 points there based on my science GPA. I would just need to find out when there classes start and perhaps take it in the summer so that I can be ready for July. I'll check chaffeys starting dates. Perhaps I can retake Anatomy there. Any other suggestions you might have for me? I really appreciate your time!

Mt Sac Nursing Program 2017
Congratulations! Wish you all the best in the fall2017. I had a feeling this semester was a tough one. Well actually every semester seems to get even harder to get in. I guess I might need to re-apply again in the fall but this time to other schools as well. Thank you for providing extra information for us who haven't received anything yet :)

Mt Sac Nursing Program 2017
I applied with 70 points:unsure: At this point I am just hoping I get in but if not, I am meanwhile taking a few other classes I need for other nursing schools just in case. I am applying to other schools but it looks like I might have just missed most of their deadlines. Did you applied anywhere else? I wish you the best and I wouldn't worry much since I heard from a friend that is currently in the program that the cut off was at 75 last semester, but it does depend on the application pool. Good luck to all of us!

LA County Nursing Applicants for Spring 2017-Generic Option
Hi @Ltorres1110, Does LA county require you to take the Teas or ATI TEAS and which book do you recommend? I actually just missed the application period and planning to apply the next opening period. Thank u for your time!

Hi, Wow! congratulations! that is a very good score! I didn't know that the Prometric testing center offered the Hesi exam. By any chance do you know where I can take the ATI TEAS exam?? I'm also trying to submit my applications in other schools, but I they no longer have testing dates available. Are you only applying to Mt. Sac?

Mt Sac Nursing Program 2017
Hi HAMSAMICH, That I remembered their were 55 questions each section and approximately 3-4 hrs that were given for the whole exam. So if you finished A&P earlier than that time is rolled over to the next section.

Hi, Thank you! Regarding the A&P they are similar to the practice test, but they are not the same. I had a mixture of both A&P questions. You would also just bring the official printout of the confirmation they email you.

Mt Sac Nursing Program 2017
Hi everyone, I haven't seen many updates from any future 2017 pre nursing students. I hope we get this chat forum going so that we can have a smoothly welcoming and we get to chat with each other soon :) I just wanted to update you with my experience in the HESI for those of you who haven't taken it yet. I just submitted my Nursing application for this period 2017 so I hope I get selected to start on the FALL 2017. So, for the Mt. Sac HESI exam it is definitely time and you do NOT get to use a calculator for math but it was pretty basic which included fractions, word problem, ratios, proportions, one military time question that I remembered and a couple conversion problems. Anatomy and physiology was a mixture of everything. Honesty, I just reviewed from HESI book, did supplemental practice questions online and quizlet. The Reading section was similar to the practice exams given on the HESI A2. Now grammar was pretty EASY so do not worry so much in that section, but do practice online practice test. Lastly, the vocabulary section had some words from the HESI A2 practice book but not all, so just practice and their are plenty of practice exams online as well. Well if you have any questions feel free to let me know.

Study Groups or Study Alone ???
I also agree with you @ItsThatJenGirl in that you learn when you text someone else. I'm not in the program, but I'm applying next week and also want to prep my self for it. In physiology I found myself teaching others and it helped me personally to retain all information after teaching it to others. Not to mentioned that I had already reviewed the information on my own, so reinforcing discussions with others was beneficial for myself. I got an A in physio and they got B's ;-) so it's all up to the methods you chose @paola2319

Hello future nursing students! Is anyone applying to the Nursing Program this year 2017? What scores did you all place on the Hesi exam? I personally haven't taken the Hesi exam, but I do have my exam date next month (February 2017).
