Rady Childrens or Sharp RN Residency

Did anyone else apply to these hospitals for their upcoming residency this summer? The wait is making me crazy I want a shot so bad at a job or at least an interview.

No, I have not heard from Sharp yet either. I guess it is a waiting game until April 19...i HATE waiting. It's so annoying that you have to apply like 5-6 months in advance for a position and then basically wait until you hear from HR. Anyways, good luck to everybody! we WILL get a job sooner or later :)

So yeah nothing on my end either. I called HR today and yes the waiting game will last until April 19th. She said they are still processing the applications and there were over 1600 of them so yeah they had a lot of work in store for them. I'm praying that this is my job searching breakthrough.

Over 1600 applicants :eek:. The statistical odds of getting a job (2.5%) are quite disheartening. When is the media going to get on board with this and stop touting the shortage.

Very disheartening but I'm trying to stay positive. Someone needs to do something.

Got an e-mail today from Sharp Mary Birch indicating that the summer 2010 L&D new grad program had been canceled. Did anyone else receive this? Good luck to everyone...

i also got the Sharp email that L&D new grad was canceled... but NICU is still on... so there's still hope!

Not to diminish your hope.....NICU is only hiring 1 new grad.
