Hi guys!!

Just wanted to start a forum for the upcoming fall application period: August 15th 2025-September 12th 2025. That way we can help each other with application questions or keep each other updated on acceptance, ineligibility, and rejection.

Wishing everyone the best!! 🙂

My Dr was giving me such a hard time asking why the school wants all this as if she didn't go through a similar process for med school, plus the medical assistant looked annoyed as well. She told me I would have to go back in a couple of days to pick up the lab order since it's extremely tedious for the code numbers and test I need done. So what I did was go to my local cvs and got all the vaccines... like all of them I believe they poked me 5 times!! LOL I had a sore arm for a couple of days but it beats having to deal with this bull at my drs office.

OMG the same thing happened to me! And my provider was an NP, so I really thought she'd understand me! My cousins also went through the same thing when they were going through nursing school, nobody wanted to do the blood work for them. I don't understand why 😭 This is exactly why I want to be a nurse, to be understanding and help those in need like we needed LOL! But I'm glad you got your stuff, my arms have been killinggg me too and I've felt so sick haha

Wow so lucky! My local clinic refused to do lab work for titers. She gave me a printed list of my vaccines instead and signed off on it. Now I'm running around trying to find a clinic that will get it done! 🫠 Other than that I've got everything else down ! 🙂 The covid and flu shot had me down for two days haha

I was having a similar administrative issue! I gave up and paid the $139 from LabReqs out of pocket and went to labcorps at walgreens 😞

Hey everyone, just wanna check in and see how everyone is doing with CastleBranch?
I now am shown to turn in 4 different Covid vaccines/boosters. Anyone else? For whatever reason they will not accept my 2024/2025 vaccine even though I have provided multiple documents stating I got that vaccine last year. All other vaccines & titers have been completed, along with my background, NSO insurance, fire card and urine test. All I have left is the second step of my TB, & the physical (which will be turned in once my TB is complete)… oh and that 24/25 covid vaccine.

Is Castlebranch not working for anyone else?

Hi! Yes the booster was just recently added to mine actually but I already had everything else (covid ones). I have not had a covid vaccine since 2022. I got the 2025 moderna vaccine a few days ago and uploaded it to the Covid (booster), covid (annual) and covid (2024/2025) requirements and it worked for me. I've had some other issues with titers so I called the school and they were very helpful 😊 I definitely recommend calling if you haven't resolved it yet!

Btw, since we're on the topic, can I ask you how your provider filled out your first page of the physical paperwork? Specifically the part to the left of the TB results portion that asks about vaccines. What did they mark down on the columns labeled "1 2 3" on your paper? I ask because my provider simply did not fill it out and printed a list of my vaccines to attach to the packet, but I don't want to do that. I think they weren't sure how to fill it out either. I'm assuming they're supposed to put the dates we received those vaccines that are listed? (on the paper)

Thank you! I'll try that if this last resort doesn't work.

I haven't picked up the paper just yet. I'll be getting it this week. When I looked it over, I also was wondering what goes in those spots. I thought the dates too. When I get it back later this week I'll update and let you know

My physical was accepted and my provider put dates on the lines. Some of them were blank because they are not a three shot series. He also just wrote "medical immunity" for the last two. I provided vaccination proof separately. I am having trouble submitting the booster and 24/25 vaccine for COVID imms though.

Thank you both for your help! I appreciate it 🙂

Has anyone gotten any alternate acceptances yet. I am wondering if I should reach out to the nursing department because they haven't sent any alternates or inelligles emails yet .the wait is really is taking too long.I expect that they should let us know by now

The deadline we were given to accept the seat was October 24th. They said after this date seats will be given up

Has anyone gotten any alternate or more acceptance emails yet. It's taking too long to hear back if we are in or out .I kinda want to reach out to the nursing department  to ask.

Hi all! For the people who were able to complete their health clearance in one go, can you let me know where you went? I just moved to LA and don't have a primary or anything 😞

Hi! Try to find a small clinic. Many smaller Hispanic clinics have reasonable pricing.
