You have lifted such a weight off my shoulders with the info you've shared!! Thank you sooo much! ?? Can I ask what the hardest material to learn was for you? The toughest skill in lab? I have been brushing up on dosage calculations and looking at NCLEX style questions just to get a feel for how tough its gonna be LOL Im super scared but prepared to study and fully jump into the workload

Yes they did! They told me not to worry as they know how the process works for those of us who have to redo the series OR get a booster and a 2nd titer. She said to just get my booster and lab work done by the required dates (as in the timeline of 28 days apart from booster + titer, castle branch keeps dates and deadlines for your repeat boosters and 2nd titer) and I'm good ?

Hi, so long as you have immunity for them I'm pretty sure you're all good. The one you need every 10 years is the td booster. As for the TB test, I believe IF you did a 2 step tb series within the past year then you just need to submit those. If you only took just one within the past year, I don't think it will suffice. They want 2 back to back within 7-21 days of each other. Someone correct me if I'm wrong ? you can also email the nursing department to double check! As for the Hep B, is it because you don't have immunity or because you never received it? Because I did not have immunity, however I had the entire series as a child. So I opted for the 2 series one that's done 28-31 days apart. But yes, I do believe we should be good so long as we show proof that we are in progress with getting the repeated series. I emailed them to double check that for us all, but they have not gotten back to me yet ?

Hi, I also didn't have immunity to Hep B and I went to CVS and asked for the 2 series Hep B vaccines. I have already had my initial series, hence why I opted for the 2 series one because it is a shorter process whereas the full repeat series is 3 vaccines for 6 months or something like that? It's much longer. You would have to ask your provider which one they think is best for you, but I went for the 2 series to meet deadlines.

Hi, I have almost everything done except my titers because I am not immune to any of the 5 vaccines they wanted us to test for. So I have to go through a 2 month process of getting 2 vaccines for each one and then a 2nd titer which would make me past the Dec 8 due date, however I think if they know that we are in progress and getting things done then you should be okay so long as you have everything done by the time we start school in January ? I Was super worried about it too and am going to contact the school just to be sure that I'm correct on that. You could contact them too just to be sure as well! They respond pretty quickly to calls and emails and are very nice

Yeah I was super worried about them requiring last years covid shot because I did not get that so I wasn't sure how we were supposed to pass that requirement. I got the 25/26 one from CVS as soon as I got my acceptance and uploaded that document to last years 24/25 and they accepted it with no issues for me. I'm not sure why they didn't accept yours, but took mine! Does your document have your name, date, and the COVID brand you received? That's the only reason I'd think they wouldn't accept is not enough info on the paper.

Btw, since we're on the topic, can I ask you how your provider filled out your first page of the physical paperwork? Specifically the part to the left of the TB results portion that asks about vaccines. What did they mark down on the columns labeled "1 2 3" on your paper? I ask because my provider simply did not fill it out and printed a list of my vaccines to attach to the packet, but I don't want to do that. I think they weren't sure how to fill it out either. I'm assuming they're supposed to put the dates we received those vaccines that are listed? (on the paper)

Hi! Yes the booster was just recently added to mine actually but I already had everything else (covid ones). I have not had a covid vaccine since 2022. I got the 2025 moderna vaccine a few days ago and uploaded it to the Covid (booster), covid (annual) and covid (2024/2025) requirements and it worked for me. I've had some other issues with titers so I called the school and they were very helpful ? I definitely recommend calling if you haven't resolved it yet!

OMG the same thing happened to me! And my provider was an NP, so I really thought she'd understand me! My cousins also went through the same thing when they were going through nursing school, nobody wanted to do the blood work for them. I don't understand why ? This is exactly why I want to be a nurse, to be understanding and help those in need like we needed LOL! But I'm glad you got your stuff, my arms have been killinggg me too and I've felt so sick haha
