Ok. I take public transportation to work. No biggy. I have a co-worker of mine who likes to tell the staff that i don't drive and take the light rail/bus. Its not a big issue but I find his manner sort of rude and intrusive.
Any suggestions?
The OP is over 3 years old, so hopefully they've dealt with it by nowSounds like he's just trying to "get your goat" so to speak. I would just ignore him, or, as some have suggested, ask him what it is about you riding the bus that so intrigues him that he must mention it in front of others often.

I think people laught because of the idea of being cheap...I remember when I took a microbiology in college, there was an orthodox jewish lady who took a bike to to school everyday...everyone was talking about her and laughing behind her back,I think she was going through a divorce with her husband...I dont know she was strange,I didnt like her anyway...Me on the other hand I spend too much money...
