:trout: Oh my GAWD!!! I hate this questions from my classmates. The teachers could be all in really going with the lecture and one classmate always ask this STUPID question. I am sorry there goes the saying, "There are no stupid questions." That is indeed stupid.
I am also finding that some of my classmates want the teacher to "spoon feed" what to write on their notes. I am thinking we are in college people. High School days are gone!:smackingf . This one student want the teacher to slow down so she can write every word coming out of the teacher's mouth. We have a 6PM class, one student said, you need to slowdown because I am tired and I have been here since 12PM.:flamesonb I am thinking, I have been up since 5:30AM, handled kids, worked, fought 50 minutes traffic, and I am here prepared.
I am sorry, just a little ticked. I had to vent, now I feel better......:pumpiron:
My A&P instructor also put pins in the muscles that we would be responsible for. Because our practical is on a cadaver, it will be hard to turn him over, all muscles for our muscle practical will be anterior. People still complained and had stupid questions.
We have a Cadaver practical like this as well, we only need to know Anterior muscles of Cadaver, however we still have a muscle practical that is written we have to know 100 muscles by definition the insertion origin and what they do. We also have a 60 muscle Cat practical where we had to find and discect out on our own with no help these 60 muscles we have our practical on that in 2 weeks.
Get this...the newest thing in our school is that if a student gets below a 68 on a test the teacher needs to counsel the student, I guess ir's equivalent to having a conference. Our A&P teacher is NOT too happy about that but had to announce it since we had plenty bad grades on his lecture test on Monday (61 average!!!!).Come on these are ADULTS...most don't do well on the tests because they don't STUDY, MISS CLASS, OR LACK TIME/VOLUME MANAGEMENT SKILLS....next thing you know they'll send a progress report to my mother ????:wink2:
I am tickled right with you!
Dang that isn't right at all
My school has conferences with people who score below a 70% on their first test, but not to counsel students to try harder, but to counsel them to take another class
