The criteria for applicants at Quincy College recently changed so I think those that had to take the Teas are currently receiving their letters.
I can say I am a current student -pre Teas- with a 3.7 gpa. Feel free to pm me if you like. Are you interested in the day or evening program?
I'm interested in the evening program. I've taken the teas twice and didn't do that well. I'm retaking it 7/10 and studying like crazy. My gpa is only 3.3 though :/ I'm hoping a good teas score will help me. I was just looking for a reference of admitted applicants, I would love to know how they scored.

I'm am currently an LPN in the RN program (we start the 2nd year with students) I'm not sure how it is now with the TEAS but I believe they still go by the Teas scores first then gpa. I applied when it was still the accuplacer and got a 119 out of 120 on reading comprehension. My gpa was *very* low, at a 2.4(not my proudest accomplishment). Fortunately for me, the accuplacer reading comprehension was their main criteria when accepting LPNs.

I'm pretty sure that they now go by a point system. Of course, TEAS and pre-req GPA get the most weight.

Sorry-didn't answer your question. I was just accepted into the P/T 2014 program with a 3.62 pre-req. GPA and a 72% TEAS V Score (but keep in mind that a "Proficient Level" ranges from a 68.7%-79% it doesn't matter if you are in the high or low percentage your score will be worth 35pts. I also have taken all my classes at Quincy-so I know I got the max pts. there and I also had letters of experience. I just read on the school website that they extended the deadline for the p/t programs in Quincy and Plymouth until Aug 14th. So they obviously still have seats available. I think people are having a very hard time meeting the minimum score requirements on the TEAS V especially since people can only take it 3 times a year! Good Luck!!
Quincy has historically extended deadlines even when enough applicants have responded, in order to garner more application fees- some may say...
