I know the time frame for viability but what is typically the lowest viable birth weight?

My patient this week was a previous 27 week IUGR preemie born 533g.
Sometimes, the problems are technical--you can get 2.0 ETT, but it's hard to get a suction catheter down it. That sort of thing. There is a web site that actually has birth wts and gestations of micropremies who survived, and other info. I'll try to find it later.

But remember that viable and with quality of life are completely two different things.
