well for anybody that has any experience or answers to my questions about travel nursing, i would appreciate it. :)

#1 - i know most places (from what i have heard) are looking for travel nurses for 13 week contracts. is it possible to get like a 4-6 week contract?

#2 - how do they pay you, weekly or bi-weekly?

#3 - how do you get your pay? deposited to a local bank with a new account? or too your bank from your homestate etc?

#4 - how do you find out where they need you, and where you can go? hours? shifts? etc. etc.

#5 - what is included in it? (i.e. housing? electric? rate of pay, any benefits, etc etc?)

any help would be greatly appreciated,

me :)

im am looking in to med express and american mobile has any body delt with those to companies and can share any info on them thanks

I too have a packet from Med Express... I have heard positive things about them, but have not dealt with them. If I can work out the particulars, I will sign a short term contract with them and work a travel contract. I will keep you posted if you want to email me with your address.

Never heard ofAamerican mobile. Have you looked at the delphi website? It may have info about them on their travel BB.

Good Luck with your adventures!

Nightingale,

I am interested in going to Colorado via travel nursing. In particular I am interested in the Colorado Springs area and Denver area also. Can you share any info regarding this? Good and bad !! I have never done travel nursing so I am a total rookie, knowing nothing but open to hear and learn all about it.

Thanks.

Ellen

I am soon going to Waltersboro SC for assignment at Collenton Hospital. Has anyone ever been there? Any tips? I will be living in charleston SC , Waltersboro still has no decent housing close to the hospital. Also does anyone recomend any other hospital in SC?

Thanks, carehope

I make $35/hr-get paid weekly-direct deposit to my home bank.To find out about where and when to go and what pay and benefits are offered, I call my recruiter toward the end of my current assignment and discuss options and make a decision! I get free, furnished, corporate housing with all utilities paid, and $100/week while on assignment for transportation. They also reimburse up to $500 round trip travel to an assignment, and reimburse licensure expenses.Hope this helps:)

I work with rnnetwork. Pay depends on the facility. They have all kinds of positions in all kinds of locales. Travel pay is avg, the housing is 1st class (furnished), benes great, and double time for OT.

Which agency are you working for ? Thanks
