Hello beautiful people, I need help with my assignment.

1)Does anyone know how many drops/ml in the following giving sets.

a) normal/blood infusion set

b) burette set

2)what are 3 situations in which you need to use a burette set?

from one student to another... the nurses don't like doing your homework for you. They are, however, usually willing to help if you tried to answer the question. I bet you would get more responses if you put down what you think the answer is and how you got there.

Yes none of us mind helping you but we will not just do it for you. What did your textbook say? I am sure it is in there between the covers. Seek and ye shall find.

do you know what a burette set is and how it works? that should give you a clue. when you know that, if you still can't figure it out, come back, let us know what you learned, and we'll give you... more hints. here's another hint: a huge part of being a nurse and nursing is putting facts together and figuring out the answer, because you will be responsible for it.

(the poster who says we don't do your homework for you is right.)

"asking for the answer on an online forum" is not the same as "looking it up in the textbook you haven't cracked all semester," :devil:.

so.... what have you learned? we really will help, but you have to bring something to the table first.

What specifically have you found in your research concerning these topics? We would be glad to help you, but first we must see that you have taken some effort on this assignment. Like other posters have said, we are not here to do your homework for you. But we are here to help guide you.

Hello,

My name is Cam, I'm a nurse returning from overseas and am doing my drug calcualtions test to work for a nursing agency here while I find a good job. However, I have been asked this very question on this test.

I use to know the answer but am now a theatre nurse and have not used one of these for over 5 years. I have been on the net now for about 4 hours and this is what I've found.

1) Children and infants - that was the one I remembered :)

2) gives a more accurate titrate of IV meds

3) and accurate hourly dose - or is that just the other half of answer 2?

4) Prevent hypovolemia is small people

Do you think I will pass or does someone have a site I could visit to answer this question properly?
