Questions for Ospital ng Makati..

congratulations to the 12 RNs who successfully surpass their Final Interview at Personal Selection Board and Medical Director of Ospital ng Makati today.
The sad news is, even us who underwent that stage last year were not yet called for our first day high..... tsk tsk tsk......

I saw ---- at Makati Central Police Station getting -------- police clearance...hmmm it felt awfully good to come across one of our seniors in that place...we talked about the employment process at OsMak and I think he's one of those 12 lucky nurses...guys be thankful, once I've started my application with OsMak, I would really consider getting to the initial interview a big achievement already...I've been hearing a lot of negativities lately and denial won't work now...gotta face this and dance with the music, there's too much at stake and holding back would waste all the sacrifices. I gotta keep moving no matter what.

Wow planning to take mine at Concordia... but what good would it give me if I couldn't even get to start as an entry level nurse...guess I'd take the nurse-educator's path then... Good luck hehe.

any updates? have they started calling applicants for SELECOM? that's my next step. but I haven't heard from them since I had my clinical interview last Oct 2010. Should I be worried? Is the new building already open? and are they still filling uo those 200 slots?

i had an opportunity to talk with the makati city health department staff in Makati City Hall and I told me that there will be 80 (RNs undergone PSB) who will start on their training. I hope they will be calling everyone who already undergone PSB. I am done with that stage and I wasn't called mid Christmas and new year(they hired 30 RN). I really need this job. I suggest to Ospital ng Makati's HR to properly line-up applicants and be reminded that Makati Residents are as always priority in hiring. I know somebody who ranked 8th place in PNLE and was a resident of makati who was still waiting. and I pray to be called for my first day very soon.

try to follow-up. look for irish of hrd. they will be conducting group interview initially with the hospital's hrd then they'll ask you to take your exams at NSO then clinical interview then SELECOM (selection committee) interview then Final Interview/PSB (Personal Selection Board) with Hospital Director and other important people from the hospital and a representative from Makati City Hall.

Yeah! That is very correct! They should prioritize Makati City residents and registered voters. But two thumbs up to their HR, they are all accommodating and nice.

i went there yesterday and the the lady from HR said they prioritize applicants who's a graduate of Univ. of makati but still i submitted my resume hope I hear from them soon

No! Its not true that they prioritize University of Makati graduates. Everyone has the chance to be screened.

Hi, I'm not a resident of Makati. Is there still a chance for me to be accomodated? I mean, will they accept my application? I still would want to deposit or submit my application.
