I sat for boards back when it was scored and given twice a year over two days and took 6-8 weeks to get results back. I completed the exams before the time expired, and as I waited outside the auditorium for my friends to emerge, there were dozens of people standing around anxiously asking each other what they answered for this question or the other. When I was approached and questioned about my responses, I asked them, 'what difference does it make'? The test was over. For better or worse, there wasn't a damned thing I could do about it. I either had a passing score, or I'd be taking it again. Second-guessing and beating myself up over it wasn't going to change the outcome.
I understand you're anxious to find out if you passed. But don't let it consume you. Go out and enjoy the weekend. Have some fun.
Good luck.
I just finished taking the NCLEX-RN. My exam stopped at 75 questions. Either I passed with flying colors or failed tremendously. I am so nervous. This is going to be a long 48 hrs.
My computer shut off at 79! just shut off goodbye! I took my exams with 2 friends, I was &*^%%ing my pants as I waited for them. We were one of the very first to take the "new computerized exam" No one knew what to expect,so I thought for sure I was doomed. One friend came out after 181 and the other friend went all the way to the end. I never smoked so many cigarettes(reformed smoker now) in my life waiting for the last friend to come out. TWO weeks later we all our our results . I stared at that envelope for 2 days before I finally had the guts to open it .And I passed.
