I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?

Hi to all!

I just found out that I passed NCLEX. Thank God :lol2:

I took it last November 16. Thanks Suzzane and Lawrence for all the advice.

As a LPN got the min 85 ?s Of course I thought I failed and was trying to figure out a way to commit suicide to avoid telling people I failed, but i passed the neighbors heard me screaming for miles.

I just took the NCLEX RN this morning and it shut off at 75 questions...

I truly feel I answered every question wrong! It was like someone had watched me do practice exams for weeks and then picked all the material I didn't study enough, or questions I had trouble with, and tested me on that! I hate this and everyone else thinks I'm crazy... "oh just relax, I'm sure you passed!" I hope I did... This is horrible!

I took the NCLEX RN in June and it shut off at 75 questions, I was confident that I passed and DID NOT! I just retook the NCLEX friday and will know if I passed on Monday. It again shut off at 75 and I am really worried.

Thanks,

Crystal

I had 85 questions on my NCLEX PN and passed. Then I took my NCLEX RN and had 75 questions... I felt sick through the entire exam, felt that I had failed at question 20 and that it had to keep going until question 75 so it could finally shut off. I had everyone in my family and everyone from work convinced that I had failed... the next 48 hours were horrible. Then I found out that I had passed! haha. I think everyone psychs themselves out after the exam and everyone feels that they failed it no matter how many questions you have!

2.5 years ago I took NCLEX and got 78 questions over 45 minutes. I was sure that I either absolutely passed or failed... I PASSED. But the last question I got was one of those absolutely pass/fail questions about Digoxin and giving it to a neonatal patient and if you would have answered any of the 3 the patient would have died, so I think that was one of those "if you get it right it showed proficiency" kind-of questions.

I just took NCLEX-RN for the second time and passed with 75. I failed it the first time with 265.

I took the NCLEX, was trying not to freak out too much, but got 75 questions and passed! It goes by so quickly when you only have 75-it was a blur!

Good luck to all!

I took the NCLEX for the second time on Dec 28th 2007... I took it the first time in Aug and failed with 110 questions. I was 100% SURE i failed. I was a nervous wreck and honestly did not put much effort into studying since I was so sick of school. Also I was working all summer on a med-surg floor and hated it. When I failed in August I was slightly relieved but also sad... I felt like I wanted to forget nursing. I waited four months to re-take the exam. I had 75 questions. I had been studying so much. I ordered those questions through learning extension which I thought was a big help... I diligently studied everyday. I remained calm and asked the Holy Spirit to guide me in all my ways...Including the NCLEX:) So its now midnight and I can get my quick results tomorrow. Im thinking how can I fail? I actually studied this time and I couldnt have done worse than the first time, right???? Well am just playing the waiting game now... IT STINKS but its nclex world.. Till tomorrow........ ;)

I got the 75 questions, and I knew I passed. Only had a few questions I was unsure about. I was lucky.

So I just want to know did you pass?

YES I FAILED!!! Found out today and Im pissed/discouraged/confused. I hate the NCLEX I do not know what else I can do!!! I studied sooo much the second time and obviously did worse than the first time since I got 75 questions... What a bunch of BS this exam is!!! What do I do??? Keep spending more money to fail! I was crying soo badly all day long..
