I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?
Graduate w/ BSN & took NCLEX 1/18/08, 3 weeks later. It shut off at 75 & I had no idea if I passed or failed. Have never met anyone who failed at 75 -- know lots of nurses from working as an aide the past 4 yrs in a large hospital. As I drove away from the testing site, my heart started beating faster b/c I knew I missed the last question. I thought "OMG" I must have missed so many it wouldn't give me the chance to go on to prove myself. I was so sure I had failed. Couldn't sleep or relax. I couldn't remember any of the questions except the ones I missed. Found out this morning I passed. Thank God. I highly recommend the Hurst Review online or live. Marlene is phenomenal! She is a very dynamic speaker & teaches things like the endrocrine system in a way you'll never forget. For those of you waiting on your results...in our class so far most have had 75 & passed, 93, 130, 110 all passed. Two had 265, one of them failed. Best wishes to all. Waiting for the results was one of the most nerve wracking experiences I have encounter.

I think it is nice to see if the percentage is really comparable to the statistics of the NCLEX. It was reassuring to me to see that the people from this board are pretty much in line with those statistics.
OMG! Just got back from taking the test today. Talk about Severe anxiety! When i got to #75 i was praying the test would not stop. Then of course it did just that! That test could not have been any harder! I think the only questions I was 100% sure about were the math questions! Waiting for the results is gonna be a real pain.

You passed. I was a wreck and luckily only had to wait two days for results. I still have never heard of anyone first hand who did not pass with 75 questions. And of those 75, 15 were pilot test questions that do not count. You did super! If I was a gambler, I'd bet lots of $$$ that you passed NCLEX.
