Nursing Students NCLEX

I am so annoyed right now!!!! I took NCLEX RN this morning and I tried the Pearson vue trick about a hundred thousand times and it keeps saying the same thing.."this candidate record is on hold".... Blah blah blah!!!!! First I had major anxiety, but now with the help of Xanax and prayers I have relaxed...:)! How long does it take for me to know? I know that I can pay and get results in 2 days....but do I really have to wait instead of getting the results now? Why is it on hold? Ugh!!!!!! Is this good or bad???? I am going crazy!!!! I don't understand if this is a computerized test why does it take forever to get the grade? My LPN boards were not this crazy!!!! Please someone help. Thank you!!!

Anyone???? Any Suggestions???

If your results are on hold, it probably means they have to check things out to ensure that everything about your exam session is OK. Once they're satisfied that everything is correctly done and no test violations have occurred, they'll release the results, for good or not so good.

Best of luck sweetie and try to stay positive. My results were on hold too. Took the exam on a Thursday, had 265 questions and got the unofficial results that Tuesday that I did fail. My results were on hold because my fingerprints could but be verified. I received my letter from bon and scored near passing standard in all areas. I had a feeling I did not pass because I did not know a good amount of questions and did not prepare well enough. I can reteat October 21st. Now keep in mind this was my situation and others have passed with 265 questions and results on hold. So it can go either way and is stressful. I will pray you passed and stay positive. I wish you the best.

You just took it Saturday; most BONs either take two days or have a certain day of the week that they post licenses.

Now that you've taken a Xanax, step AWAY from the computer or AN app and GO ENJOY YOURSELF...you completed the boards!

If you took your PN boards, you had some idea how the NCLEX works-now, you can pay for quick results, or wait until your BON puts your license number up. ;)
