200 questions or bust.....Help Me

I got 200 questions, and i tell you this was the most difficult test i have ever taken. The Nclex made Nursing School a breeze. I am still waiting for results of my test .California does not have the early results option, right now it is taking up to 4 weeks for results. I cannot tell you the feeling of doom the black cloud. I felt like i was guessing on the whole test , i couldnt tell if the questions were getting harder or not, i couldnt narrow thw the two wrongs ones the possible two right ones, I got no delegation questions i remember i got priority questions , 2 mark all that apply and one math question in which i figured i got it wrong . I was so nervous during the test that i actually started crying during the test and am 75% sure i failed this test , any words of encouragement would help me, i see everyone who gets 75 passed , and it seems if yoy get 265 you pass but what about the in betweeners like myself 200 , what does that mean i failed ! i am currently studying for retake of the Nclex only because this is how i feel my gut instinct tells me i fail . Any ideas or comments will help me , please share your stories with me , i need this if more than ever . Anyone get on between like myself, they should of given me all 265 why did it stop at 200! anyone ever heard of this , this is a failed Nclex story is that why

hey i got 215 questions huhuhu, I still have to wait for 4 weeks for the results, the agony is killing me!

how long do you have to wait ? How long does it take for your results to come , I have friend who said she got 242 questions and she passed. I am not sure if that is the case for everyone, I mean i didnt know anything on there however i got every variety of questions you can think of thrown at me . The other thing is in California it takes up to 4 weeks now because of how busy they are . The agony is killing me as we speak ! Good Luck to you. If i wasnt working on my IP ( permit) I guess i wouldnt be freaking out so bad .

1hotrn - did you go to this site and see if you have a nursing license? Just enter your first and last name.

Also, are you either foreign born and don't have a Social Security number, or is it possible your School of Nursing had not submitted your transcripts yet when you took your test? Either of those things would cause delays. Also, you can pass or fail at any number - there's really no way to tell.

Chances are, if you got one and only one math problem, you probably got it right. I got one, and I got it right. They never asked me another one.

If you got it wrong, they'd probably give you more to be sure you can actually do the math.

Hey Vektor thanks for your words of encouragement , but i am in California . None of my classmates are popping up . That's wierd. So are you saying dont fret over the 200 questions thing. I am still studying just in case i failed it i am up on it , i am doing the Kaplan question bank right now . I am freak and very neurotic. I just want to know yes or no , so i can move on this is so nerve racking if you know what i mean . I am in the Sacramento area by the way

i'm form the philippines and I dont have an SSN number so I guess I have to wait for 3-4 weeks for the exam by mail. Arggh the suspense is killing me, it took me 4 hrs plus to finish that 215 questions i had 3 select all and no computations, I didn't make use of the break because I thought I was gonna complete the whole 265,

When the computer shutdown at 215 I wanted it to go on!!!

I understand just wanting to know - it IS nervewracking. If none of your classmates are showing up on the BON site, and you know for a fact that they have tested, then maybe there has been a delay in the school submitting your records. (??)

I wish I knew for sure and could help you more, but your guess is as good as mine. If you are brave, you could call the CA BON, and see if they can verify whether or not you have a license over the phone. If you opt not to do that, you may have to wait another week or two to get a letter in the mail with your results.

The snail mail notification system can take a while in CA. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I understand that the wait is extremely frustrating.

Hello everyone. Congratulations to all who passed, and to those taking it soon, good luck.

I took my NCLEX RN on april 17, 220 questions, 5 hours, everyday after that i checked the CA BON, my name didn't pop up. i gave up looking after 10 days. My classmates who took their exam had their name pop up on the site 3-4 (days max) after the test. I recieved the official results in the mail on may 15th--the dreaded "big envelope" (contained the re registration application and booklet as opposed to the small envelope w/the license) almost a month later ---i didn't pass. They broke down the results in categories, I passed all but 2 of the 8 categories. My heart sank......

WEll i've been studying more.. I have somewhat more confidence---- I'm taking the test again, this coming wednesday June 27. I really hope I pass this time. *sigh.

p.s. -- do not lose faith. I have heard of one of my friends passing with 210 questions, and mhy other with 180 questions. My friend that passed with 180 questions --- her name never popped up online, so she assumed she failed, but a month later she got her letter w/license in the mail. Good luck to all ofyou!

CA BON is something else.you have to wait cos i even called them severally to know if i can get an operator that can tell me if i passed but non did.i had to wait till they mail my result.voila!! i passed.

Again,why are you so pessimistic about ur result?You wished urself failure?Anything can happen.Just wait and see but if u didn't make it,just pull urself together and start all over again.You'll make it

Can someone please tell me why the CA BON hasn't update the website today!?! I am dying to find out if I passed or not...I probably didn't...my computer shut off at a weird number...:banghead:

They keep very odd hours. They will update in about 12 hours. It's usually done in the middle of the night, about 0400. The date posted will be the date of the prior day. It's odd.

Tonight when they update, they'll call it Monday, June 25, even though it will technically be Tue, June 26, 0400.

I got my results Saturday morning, (June 23rd) but according to them, it was Friday, June 22.

Weird, I know. They are a day behind.
