someone please help me.
basically i've been studying for a while...since end of december. took kaplan, went over saunders and learningext.com... and i felt that i accumulated a lot of knowledge...felt confident, however 1 week ago my grandmother passed away. it was sad and i cried a lot and didn't exactly feel like i was in the studying mood. i had to take the exam because of a job lined up... took the exam today and it stopped at 75. people are telling me i probably passed, however i'm not so sure because i felt out-of-it because of what happened a week ago. i was nervous when i took the exam.. Can anyone tell me what the exam would be like to fail in 75 questions please!!????? thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did you feel about the questions themselves? The Kaplan book says with 75 questions you were either way above or way below passing level. Were they knowledge-based questions or analysis type questions? They (Kaplan) say that the below passing questions are knowledge based and ones you really don't have to put much thought into. From what I hear, if they were difficult and required you to use critical thinking skills and it cut off at 75 then I bet you passed! :) I'm taking mine Friday which is great because I will barely slide by my deadline for work BUT I have to probably wait til Tuesday for my quick results. EEK!!
I can imagine how that feels, but if you felt comfortable with question then you are fine. lets prayying and hope you made it.:redpinkhe:redpinkhe

i got 75 questions and i passed (even though i was sure i failed) my instructor from nursing school told me she'd never had a student fail at 75 questions.
Good luck!

thanks for the encouragement. yeah i think that had i gone into the examination without suffering a great loss like i did this past week then i'd be more comfortable in thinking that i passed... i know that i studied a lot and i should not have failed in 75 questions...i've been getting 58-60 percents on the kaplan tests.... however i think after all the crying and emotional distress i went through after my grandmother's passing i felt like an absolute zombie going in... we'll see it's in god's hands. i'll be so happy to report that i still passed. i'll keep ya'll posted!
alright. i'm just giving an update for ya'll... i just went on the pearson vue website and tried doing the trick...and i got the good pop up.... praying to God..
does anyone know of a situation when the good pop up has appeared however the person has failed??.........

Congrats, you passed. There are over 7,000 testimonials on the thread for the PVT and how it is accurate. I had 75 questions and so did many I graduated with, they all passed.
My condolences about your grandmother.
