I've endorsed my license into the state of Texas twice (LVN/2006 and RN/2010) and have never encountered that question on any of their applications for licensing. It seems bizarre and I honestly would not know the reasoning behind that question.

Wouldn't have anything to do with Texas being a compact state, would it? I don't know if there are even that many states involved in the compact license agreement anyways. Just a wild guess on my part.

Specializes in Critical Care, Education.

My guess is that this information is aggregated and used to plan & predict which compact states are most appealing to Texas grads.... I doubt whether it has any bearing on your individual eligibility or approval.
