I had an AAS (Nursing) and a BA (Liberal Arts). All I had to take were the 23 CU of nursing core. However, I had already completed biochemistry and microbiology as an undergrad. An none of your credits will transfer to the MSN - because they are undergraduate degrees. I was able to complete the program in one term in 2011.
By the way Beeker, I am still waiti on my evaluation-hoping to receive it by Monday. My background is similar. I have a Bachelors & Masters degree in Psychology and my ASN nursing. Im almost for sure that none of my Masters level courses will transfer but they wanted to transcript anyway even though I tried to have them excluded. As soon as I get word then I will let you know.
So I just received my transcript eval and I am left with competency units for my RN to MSN. I am hoping to accelerate quickly, do you think 2 terms is doable? I have an idea for both community health as well as my capstone in hopes of getting an early preparation atart with my research. All advice, suggestion, recomendations are welcome. Thanks

If you have an Associates in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in a non nursing field, how many credits did you need to complete at WGU for your MSN?
Anyone want ant to give me a ballpark of how many credits you had to take after transfer for your BSN? mSN?
