Question about Saunders NCLEX materials

So I bought Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX and it came with an online code that gives me access to the NCLEX prep stuff on the website. I was originally planning to also purchase the Saunders Q&A book for the NCLEX review questions, but now I'm wondering if they'll just be the same questions I can now access online. Can anyone tell me if this is the case or if its worth buying the Q&A book also?

How long until you take your NCLEX? I would say that the online questions are MORE than enough! There's a 1000+ questions for EACH category; so you'll most likely never run out of new questions. I never did and I also used it to study throughout nursing school and I take my NCLEX Tuesday. Unless you prefer studying out of a book, I would say save your money on getting another book, such as Kaplan or Hurst, so that way you can see the different styles and content of questions; because they're all a little different. Good luck to ya!

Personally I think the questions are really the main attraction of the NCLEX review so purchasing the questions alone would be fine. The only other thing is the book (the earlier edition at least) had a section of content review for topic. It was in outline format that was pretty neat for content review. I even used it while I was taking classes for further information and understanding. The outlines didn't have all the fluff that textbooks normally have. It was just each topic with the most pertinent information.

If you find you need more content review then get it, but otherwise just do the questions. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help, guys! I'm only halfway through my ADN program so I won't be taking the NCLEX for another year or so. I have the content review to go through and the online practice questions, so I guess I'll go through those and if I run out of questions, then I'll find something else to do. I'm fast at taking tests and fast at reading so I have a feeling I'll be able to get through all the questions online before I take my NCLEX. I'm going back and forth on doing Kaplan too, it's so pricy but everyone says its so helpful/just like the NCLEX. Maybe I'll find someone to split it with.
