If 1 grain = 60 OR 65 mg who do you know you get your conversions right? When do you use 60 and when do you use 65mg?
We were taught that it was either 60 or 65, but for our purposes in school, we would use 60....
Contradiciting that however, we had our checkoffs for oral medications, and were given an order for Tylenol grV and all they had in the drawer was Tylenol 325mg....so the only way that it was possible that could be the correct medication was to use 65!! Grrrrrr...could we make things MORE confusing than they already are?!?!?
