265 q's = pass??

I took the nclex with 265 questions today. I didn't check on the Pearson Vue because apparently I have to put my credit card info in to see if I passed or not. I'm afraid that if I didn't pass, I'll have already paid my $200...

I came home to check the answer for my 265th question..and I answered it wrong.

Do you think I still passed with 265 or not?

My instructor told my class that some people are pre-selected to answer all 265 questions, whether or not they are qualified to pass by the 75th question. It's one of the ways they test out new questions. I think it's kind of mean, but nobody asked me.

Either you misunderstood your instructor, or your instructor is utterly clueless as to how this test works. Which is odd for someone who is supposed to be preparing students for it!

I took NCLEX on September 10... I have been doing pearson vue trick .... And it won't let me register again. I'm really nervous about my results and want to do the quick results but it won't let me yet!!! I probably won't know for sure until next week since tomorrow is Saturday.... Ugh!!! #stressed

Today is the 12th. Your quick results should be available 48 hours after you tested. Seems confusing that they aren't unless something has gone wrong. And as far as I know, weekends don't affect it, you can still get your results on Saturdays and Sundays. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Try doing a search for your name on your states BON site. I took my NCLEX test Sept 2 and my name was listed with an active license in my states BON registry site on Sept 4.

well a big congrats, it really dosent matter if its 75 or 265 questions you are an RN! :)

My story is similar! I also took my nclex-rn on sep.10 and got 265 questions. I felt confused and defeated after the exam. I checked to see if i got the last question right when i got home and it was wrong. I felt worse after that. I did not do the new pv trick because i did not have sufficient funds in my account. My quick results took 5 days to process because of some computer issues in the houston testing center where i took it at. Anyways, my quick results came in today sep.15th and I passed! Those 5 days of waiting was worth it! God is great! I am officially an RN!
