Hi, I am currently working on my pre requisites for the nursing program at queensborough but my only problem is my grade for A&P 1. I definitely did not do as well as I should've (let's just say, below passing) and was wondering if I was able to retake the class in order to do better. Every other class I had taken either has an A or B but it's anatomy that really got to me last semester :/
When I applied for fall 2012 classes, I signed myself up for a&p 1 again but I keep hearing that you are not able to retake the class if you failed? Can anyone help?

Your query is easily answered by QCC's student handbook and or website for the nursing department.
[h=3]Criteria for Application[/h]

Unless one is mistaken the above means you can repeat a course as many times as you like,but only the first grade will count towards the GPA required (3.0) for entry into the clinical phase/offical nursing program.
As usual standard advice applies; seek out and speak with someone in the nursing department to obtain official counsel on how to proceed.

I am a graduate of QCC, you can't repeat a pre-req class unless it's been 6 or more years since you've taken it.
