Hello,
I need help.
I took NCLEX RN yesterday on 2/28/18
It was my 4th time.
After exam, i did PVT but it was a "bad pop up" (Credit cared was declined)
Two hours later, I did it again once i received an email from Pearsonvue.
It was a"bad pop up" again. I was very devastating!! I thought i was well prepared and i felt really comfortable while I was solving the problems.
I am in MA, and i can check the quick result for tomorrow
Does PVT 2018 still work in 2018?
1st time: 7/25/17 bad pop up FAILED with 76 questions
2nd time: 9/9/17 "HOLD" pop up FAILED with 265 questions
3rd time: 11/21/17 "bad pop up" FAILED with 265 questions
But what about 2018...?
This time, my last question was shut off at 94, and the question was "priority"
I took my Nclex last 03/06/18 around 11:30am and my computer shuts off at my 75th question. I took my time for the first 75 questions for about 2 1/2 hours. Just as I plan it. After taking the exam, I felt awful, I feel like none of the questions were something I had learned from the program. I wanted to believe that I failed it. A4 hours after I finished my exam, I went to do the PVT and got the good pop out. I wasn't too confident that I passed even though many people are saying that PVT is accurate. But somehow, PVT gave me some hope that maybe I really did pass. 48 hours later, I logged in to my Pearson vue account to see the quick result. Yes! PVT still works! I passed my NCLEX! To those that are still in doubt, dont be! If you get the good pop out, that's the sign for celebration! Goodluck to y'all!
The PVT worked for me.
I took my NCLEX on Friday 03/09/2018 at 8 AM. Got 75 questions, exited the testing center and turned on my phone at 9:54 AM. got the NCLEX exam completion confirmation email at 10:01 AM. Did the PVT right after I got the email, with my CC number but the exp date and CV number changed and got the good pop up, but I couldn't believe it.
I texted everyone who took it before me regarding how long I had to wait until I did the PVT trick, I got answers of 30 minutes, 2 hours and others on the forum said 4 hours and 24 hours. So I continuously checked. I checked at 30 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours, 24 hours, and one time after that. I used one credit card, a flexible account card (just a try) and a gift card. The gift card and flexible account card said this credit card is invalid (or something like that) so I tried my actual CC after and I got the good pop up.
I just check my unofficial results and it said I passed. So I believe the PVT trick does work.
Good luck to everyone!
Has anyone ever used Saunders Nclex review to study? Has it worked? How good is it? Would you recommend it to someone? I need to try something new. I have used Uworld twice and both times did not work...not because it's not a good tool. I feel it is great but not good enough for me. It has great questions and great rationals. I have done all Uworld questions and they don't have new questions, I feel l have exhausted them all. I have heard Saunders but I need to hear from others who have used it too.

I failed the first time I took it. I used UWORLD. I still have faith with uworld and used another 2month subscription. What I did differently is I took 100 test a day. 50 in the morning and 50 in the afternoon and at night I read the rationales and write need to know on a notebook. Finished the whole 2000 plus questions and re read them. I also got a special notebook for pharma alone with list of meds and things to remember with these meds. Made some post it note on my wall and it worked for me. I graduated in the Philippines like 10years ago so I feel like I skip school. So don't give up. Failure is just one way of knowing what not to do the next time your writing your exam.
