  1. Answer: They won't combine score. It has to be meeting the minimum band score for each.
  2. I failed the first time I took it. I used UWORLD. I still have faith with uworld and used another 2month subscription. What I did differently is I took 100 test a day. 50 in the morning and 50 in the afternoon and at night I read the rationales and write need to know on a notebook. Finished the whole 2000 plus questions and re read them. I also got a special notebook for pharma alone with list of meds and things to remember with these meds. Made some post it note on my wall and it worked for me. I graduated in the Philippines like 10years ago so I feel like I skip school. So don't give up. Failure is just one way of knowing what not to do the next time your writing your exam.
  3. I took mines too at same date around 2pm. The next day around 7.55am. Got a "good pop up". I went to AZ BON and said I passed. Have you called your BON to confirm what's going on?
  4. Hello Nurses. I would like to inquire about a rare situation of mine. Here is the rule of English Proficiency for AZBN. International English Language Test Service Academic Examination (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 on the Overall Band Score with a minimum of 6.0 on each module. Now here is my situation. I took IELTS last Feb 2017 and my results are overall : 6.5 reading : 6.5 writing : 5.5 listening : 6.0 speaking : 7.0 Obviously, I failed because of the writing with only 5.5 score not meeting the 6.0 minimum. I took again the IELTS last September 2017 and here are my scores. overall : 6.5 reading : 5.5 writing : 6.5 listening : 6.5 speaking : 7.0 That sucks! I, again failed to meet the 6.0 minimum for reading but my writing went up by 1 point. Question is, would they combined my first and second exam results? I boosted up my writing. I called AZBN and they said I passed and ready to sign up for PV. Would any one know or had this experience? I just wanna make sure it happened to someone before I register for another 200 dollars. Thank you so much. Any response is much appreciated.

  6. Hey bud, I just got here in arizona. I already applied for CGFNS CES and was already mailed to them. I didn't see you putting info about English proficiency. Did you take IELTS or TOEFL? and applied for NCLEX? Thanks for your time and patience kabayan.
  7. Yes, I think so. Our books are written on English as well. How will I know if I need to? University of Pangasinan. That was my school. Here's the reason why I'm worried. I would like to confirm some confusions on English proficiency requirement for AZ BON. I took IELTS exam and got a score of 6.5 overall and speaking of 7.00. Though my writing band score is 5.5 unfortunately. On AZBN website, it say that " International English Language Test Service Academic Examination (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 on the Overall Band Score with a minimum of 6.0 on each module." other resources tho like IELTS says that 6.5 overall and minimum of 7.0 for speaking is needed(hoping that this is the right one). Same as US recognition lists February of 2017 (latest). I emailed AZBN already and I don't have any respond yet.
  8. I just want to confirm somethings for the english proficiency exam for foreign nurses. You may be exempt from taking one of the exams above, if you meet the three criteria below: The country where you went to nursing school was the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada (except Quebec), or the Republic of Ireland. The spoken language of your nursing school was English. Your nursing school textbooks were written in English. The last two bullets says "The spoken language of your nursing school was English." and "Your nursing school textbooks were written in English." I am from the Philippines and resides in Arizona. CGFNS CES already sent to AZBON and just wonder if it's necessary for me to take IELTS or TOEFL?
  9. Hello, good day. I'm just literally new in this website and in Phoenix. I am an RN in the Philippines and already passed CGFNS and IELTS to AZBN. About to take exam probably in couple of months. So my question is, can I be qualified for this new grad program?
