PSY 120 Elementary Statistical Reasoning

Anyone taken this course? I'm thinking of taking this with NRSE 451 Transitions in order to finish this course before the switch to semesters.

How difficult was this course? I've taken a lot of online courses, so that is not an issue. I am OKAY with math (I got an A in College Algebra by really applying myself). I'm also working 1 full-time job, and another part-time. I'm going to cut down on the part-time job though.

Are you ordering Utts, Seeing thru Statistics 3rd ed. 2005 ISBN-10-0-534-39402-7 and Howell, David, Fundamental Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, 7th ed. 2011. ISBN-10-0-495-81125-4? Do you know if we need an online access code for this class? Thanks.

I'm just finishing up the 5 week class with Professor L. and we did not need an online access code.

Good luck to everyone with the final this week. I'm dreaming about statistics..........

I think the TA for my group was great, and I actually felt pretty good about taking this class, even though I dreaded it. I wish the nursing courses were as organized and the TA's as available as mine were for this course. I dread my next nursing course. But I'm in with you guys taking Nursing Research at the end of the month. See you all on the other side.

Put a fork in me and call me done!! Took my final stats test today. I thought it was easier than the midterm but it still took me the entire 2.5 hours to complete it. Overall I did kind of like the class and it wasn't nearly as horrible as I had thought it would be. My TA was pretty good too. I wish you everyone the best on the final, you can get through it!

I wish I were done with school for the week but no such luck. I'll be finishing up my last art paper within the next two days and I have a final microbio exam on Monday. Oh and the best news of all is that I have a job interview tomorrow in a peds office! Please send good vibes my way for the interview!

I wish everyone a great break full of relaxation. Do something nice for yourselves! See you in Research soon.

Good luck for your interview modgoth1!! Congrats on being done with stats. I take my final tomorrow and them I am good to go as well. I do have to agree with cincinursemary that the course was very organized and TA's were awesome!! It turned out that statistics was not half as bad as I thought!

I am DEAD SCARED for these last two nursing classes on blackboard. I know it is gonna be a mess!!! We will have to fight through research and excellence together!

I bought a Texas Instrument 30 ii xs and it was fine for the class; ran me about $16.00 but probably can get it cheaper than that.
