Providence TIPS April 2021

Hello! 

This will be the thread for all those applying to Providence SOCAL April 2021! 

I submitted my application today. This is my second time applying. I applied for the September (didn't have my RN lic at the time) cohort but didn't get selected for an in person interview. Last time I was requested to do a video interview. This time I received a self paced text only interview.

Heck yeah - I mean it's not like we're MSN level with 20+ years experience.. as long as you put your best foot forward I'm sure you're solid. I've heard from others that it was super selective on who they gave out interviews to and they basically cherry picked so that's a great sign!!

Case study? Spill the tea on that - help a homegirl out. I'm stressing about this interview coming up... 

I honestly hope we all get jobs and then one day we're like hey dude remember that TIPS forum - I was on it LOL.

I completely know how you feel! I was stressing out about the interview and felt well prepared. When the interview first started they informed me that there was going to be a case study and I mildly freaked out because I didn’t see anyone post about that. It wasn’t too bad... LOL. They give you a patient situation and describe how the patient is progressing. They allow you to take notes, but not search the internet.  Then they give you about 5 minutes to answer 4 questions. What are your major concerns, a SBAR, and I can’t quite remember the other two questions.

Is anybody still getting interviews for new grad?  I haven’t heard back yet and I’m starting to feel discouraged. I applied to LA locations as a new grad

I applied as a new grad. The interview is March 9th! They might still be sending out invites.

Just had my interview for OC and I thought it went great! Now waiting on a call within the next week ?? Does anyone know when exactly this program starts? April 2021 but is there an exact date?

Hey I just received an invitation for Little Company of Mary today so they are still sending invites.

I believe the program starts on April 26th.

Hi I interview for OC on Friday. Now when I log in there is a new job listing for an RN I position and a unit under my activity as if I applied for it. Does this mean I'm going to get offered a position on this unit? This was not on my portal until today.
