Providence TIPS April 2021

Hello! 

This will be the thread for all those applying to Providence SOCAL April 2021! 

I submitted my application today. This is my second time applying. I applied for the September (didn't have my RN lic at the time) cohort but didn't get selected for an in person interview. Last time I was requested to do a video interview. This time I received a self paced text only interview.

Did any one else receive an email from st Joseph health requesting to do a 5 person reference check? I didn't even receive an interview with them.

I think St. Joseph Health is in regards to the entire Providence system, regardless of if you applied to St Joes. But if you got an interview at any of the facilities, you must submit the 5 references.

Just got an interview request for Torrance! I don't know what unit yet though.

Did anyone else have this happen? The initial email was for Mission Hospital but then the emails after including the interview link was for St.Joseph Orange?

Has anyone done the interview for St. Joseph in Orange?! I just got my interview scheduled!

Yes, I had my interview this morning. The first part of the interview is a case study and then they ask you "regular" interview questions. There were four people on my nursing panel.

Yes I had mine last week. It was basic questions tell us why you want to work here similar to on Demand Video. They did ask for a priority question as well. I’m waiting to hear back..

I’m not sure about great, but I did the best I could! LOL. I wasn’t expecting a case study and a priority question. I believe the people who were there was the nursing educator, oncology manager, float pool manager, and one other manager but I can’t remember the unit. They were all very nice!
