I just wanted to start a thread so we can all keep each other updated regarding the application and interview process for the Providence TIP Residency program!

One of the recruiters said interviews would take place on either 11/6 or 11/8. I saw openings only on the 8th, but I may have been contacted on the second batch. But that's only a guess! ?

Thank you! I'll let you know how it goes ? I'm interviewing at the Burbank location. Not sure what department im interviewing with but I chose Med Surg, Step Down and the Float unit

Dang I guess they aren’t separating the interviews by department then.

I think you're right JoCl89! I looked at the last cohort thread and they said the first part of the interview was a panel and the second was with Unit managers. For the second part, they were given case studies/scenarios. I'm not sure if that's the same at all locations though.

Hello, Has anybody interviewed for TIP program at Providence Company of Mary, San Pedro? I have an in-person interview coming up next week and all I know is that it is a panel interview. I don't even know how many people would be interviewing me. Did you guys take couple portfolios or just one? what type of questions do they ask.. I appreciate any information. Thank you

Hi! It was okay I think hahah. I was super nervous but the interviewers were nice about it (there was 3 of them). It went generally fast. They asked like maybe 7 questions. All behavioral like they asked about how your customer service is, times you had a conflict and how you handled it, why st joseph and all that. I'd tell you more but honestly can't remember lol I also brought enough portfolios for all of them but they only took 1. They said I'll hear back in 2 weeks

Hello, interviewed with Providence Orange today. They said we would hear back tonight for another interview tomorrow, man they move fast! I like it! Anyone know aprox how many openings in the Residency there are and what to expect if we get a call back for the interview tomorrow? It sounded like just a meet n greet with your unit of choice.
