Providence TIP Residency Program January 2020

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread so we can all keep each other updated regarding the application and interview process for the Providence TIP Residency program!

Just applied and received an email for an online interview. Did you receive the same? It doesn’t say whether it is due before the 7th or not so I wasn’t sure if it was an ASAP thing.

Hi there! Yes, I received the same thing right after I submitted my application. I didn’t see a deadline for it, but I would get it done before the 7th just to be safe. ?

Hey everyone, applied a week ago and received that email shortly after. Already submitted and waiting for the next steps.

Also submitted my video interview. Did anybody get any updates??
Also, if you don't mind me asking, which hospitals and departments did you guys apply to??

how long did this video interview take? do they record your voice or is it recorded through web camera?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Leslie,

The video part of the process is 4-5 audio and video questions, plus 6-7 text responses. You get unlimited chances to record your intro/about me response. Then you get 2 chances to record the other questions they ask. They are super simple and standard questions (why did you become a nurse, why do you want to be in this program, tell me about your clinical experience, how do you deal with strict deadlines/stress). You get the questions before you have to actually record, so that way you can prep a little bit. It’s not bad! Good luck!

Thank you so much socalgal114. This helps a lot. I will complete soon. I'll keep you posted. Best of luck!☺️

No problem! Same to you!

I just figured this is a great way to stay connected throughout this process and more than anything, have an encouraging and positive platform! ?
