I just wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP RN Residency  program for new grads applying to the 2024cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, and more!! ☺️

For those of you that are onboarding with the hospitals, when it comes to the California Meal Break Waiver, did you accept both waivers? It feels weird to waive both.

Anyone receive a rejection email from Orange or Mission Viejo? Wondering if they even send those or they just don't say anything...

Anybody here apply to any locations in NorCal? I've interviewed back in the beginning of January and haven't heard anything back since then? Slowly losing hope now that it's February

IDK if this info is helpful to anyone, but I did get a rejection email from Santa Monica last night and my portal changed to "not retained". 
 

Still nothing from tarzana for me, but I know a few people from my school that got offers there.

Do you mind sharing how far in advance you know your schedule? Like is it only the first week or does it go passed that?

Does anyone know if we will have a specific scrub color to wear based on our unit or do all Providence hospitals only allow a certain scrub color?

It says the whole 12 week schedule but it doesn't show when the precepted shifts are throughout the weeks, so I only know the classroom/module portion so far.

Hi, were you given a choice for future dates to block out for vacation for yourself ? What if I have a trip within those 12 weeks ?

It said in the interview and job description that no pto will be approved during the residency. You'll need to reschedule your trip for when you're off orientation.
