Scrubs! I don't want to stress about the right outfit. Hopefully everyone feels the same way haha. I know we'll be mixed with all types of Providence employees though so might stand out a little

Oncology, yeah I'll email her. Did you see anything about dress code besides royal blue scrubs? I freeze so was looking at long sleeve undershirts and jackets haha. If not I'll just email her that too Most of the managers I talked to said it was 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week period, so every other weekend or every Saturday or some mix of that. Not sure how much control we'll have after the initial 24ish precepted shifts

I'm going to be at MV, did you reach out to the manager and ask for the schedule or did they just send it to you? I got an email from Genevieve a while ago with the first week orientation breakdown but it says to wait for the manager to contact us about the time after that

For those of you that are onboarding with the hospitals, when it comes to the California Meal Break Waiver, did you accept both waivers? It feels weird to waive both.

It's not just Providence, it's Orange County in general. Hoag in Newport Beach and Saddleback Memorial in Laguna Hills (also Orange Coast Memorial in Fountain Valley) also pay $45 to start. That's almost all of the hospitals

In orange county the hospitals are offering $45 as base pay. Only hospital I know of offering more is UCI and probably Kaiser. Everything else is lower than San Diego and LA even though a 1bd is like 2800

I just accepted a new grad position on night shift, hoping to switch to days ASAP. What do you mean about flip flopping? Like you have to be awake 7pm-7am on your days off too?

Ohhhhh okay so when I was interviewing at St Joseph I spoke to someone (I was interested in OR) that said every unit EXCEPT OR starts February 26. OR starts earlier

What unit? I'm waiting on the formal offer from MV but when I spoke to the manager she said February 26
