Providence New Grad 2024 Cohort

I just wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP RN Residency  program for new grads applying to the 2024cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, and more!! ☺️

my friend did receive an email saying thanks for apply, and fill out some survey to see how they can improve in the future. (Basically a rejection) 

I got 2 emails about that same survey last week which had me worried and discouraged but then I was sent an offer earlier this week! I hope the same case goes for your friend and that the hospital is still considering them !!

Just received an action required email from Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro asking to submit my social and date of birth, and they are preparing an offer. It says emergency position so I assume it's for ED? Has anyone else received an offer from here?

I was told that it was a rejection email. I would have inquired further, but since it seemed like she didn't want to talk about it...I didn't

I had my interview on 1/9 and still haven't heard back from them. I feel like I'm in limbo ? just give me a decision already! LOL

I have a couple of interviews set up today for different hospitals (not Providence). And it would suck to get a yes from providence after I say yes to others (haha see my optimism here?!)

Im honestly shocked that I haven't heard back from any hospital..I applied to 5 providence hospitals! LOL. I thought one would of sticked...granted, the units I applied to were highly sought after and had limited spaces..but Jesus..im so disappointed!..I really wanted this.

anyway, going to try and look for other hospitals that have new grad programs opening up..I just really don't have any interest in medsurg ?

I understand, I personally would not work on a unit that I don't want (in addition to nights). You'll find the right job for you. Don't settle! But then again, it is also nice to keep an open mind. You don't have to start in the ED or whatever preferred specialty right away. Hope you get offers soon!

Don't lose hope yet! once people start rejecting positions it might open up more spots, You can follow up with the recruiters see if they have any updates for you.
