  1. I don't have the specific number for HR, but you could call TMMC's number and ask if you could be connected to HR. I hope you're still in the running/alternate! Are you waiting on med surg? I really hope they give you an answer so you're not in the dark. I understand how this could be really frustrating for other applicants as well.
  2. A friend of mine got an offer from ED last week. Based on my experience, if they're REALLY interested...they would call within a week. If not, the job was offered to someone else or you're an alternate. You could try calling the HR dept and see if you're still in the running. Were you accepted somewhere else?
  3. Congratulations! What unit and are you going to accept the offer?
  4. Around 2-3 months! I'll just keep applying for day shifts positions for now. I'm not in a hurry to get a job right away. Might change my mind later on, but I wouldn't want to take a job I know I'm not going to be happy with. It'll burn me out faster.
  5. Damn, that rent is expensive. It's (the offer) not worth it for me, especially when I have to work nights. I did nights for preceptorship before and it was not kind to my body, especially my mental health. I'm currently applying for day shifts positions right now. I know it is competitive to land a new grad position for days, but I'll get lucky eventually!
  6. I heard it's pretty competitive there, but the pay is good 70+ above for new grads at NorCal. I'm a new grad and I was accepted to a telemetry unit for nights, I declined because the offer was a little low ($49) not including differentials. I was told by my family that I should just wait and look for better offers + preferred shifts. She's in Southern California. San Diego to be exact.
  7. Uh... ? My friend at Kaiser (new grad) was started 55 per hour and she got her preferred shift (days). But I guess she's somehow working for it since she mentioned how they usually have 1 CNA per floor. 2 if they're lucky.
  8. Oh okay. I asked a friend of mine and he said a total of maybe 30-40 new grads were accepted (one of the previous cohorts). Not sure for this one, it will be more likely the same.
  9. Oh nice, maybe they will accept a lot since it's the first float pool cohort? Did they mention how many they will accept for days and nights?
  10. Oh nice! How was the interview with float pool?
  11. Hi everyone, just wanted to give an update. I have a friend who got an offer for Med-Surg (nights) but she was interviewed online (not through the hiring event).
  12. Did anyone go to the 2nd hiring event? Has anyone received a call back from any hiring event?
  13. This is the last week, so let's see! Please let us know if any of you guys got an offer for 1st surgical! Or any other offers from LCOM torrance
  14. A friend of mine is waiting for 1st surgical and he hasn't received any rejection emails. He actually sent an email last week and got a reply that they're still waiting for the panel team to decide. Not sure about that. I honestly think they already sent out offers and just waiting for others to accept/decline. Also, to wait for others to pass/fail the NCLEX.
