Providence New Grad 2024 Cohort

I just wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP RN Residency  program for new grads applying to the 2024cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, and more!! ☺️

Is anyone else applying to several locations? 

I noticed the interviews are going on Jan 9th-10th. I wanted to apply to another hospital but I don't think I can handle two interviews in a day.

I applied to 2 locations and each had different days, but yea all are between Jan 9-12

 Does anyone know how the units are selected usually with other hospitals you at least get to pick your top 2 but this one doesn't have an option to select

I don't think I'll be applying to any other locations either because of this. ?

I think maybe during the interview they'll ask but like you said usually it asks within the application itself

I was wondering this also. They put the available units in some of the job postings, so I put my choices in the cover letter. But some of those units might not even end up hiring though. In past posts, applicants gave their top 3 choices so I guess thats at the interview.

I applied to two just to broaden the possibilities but yeah, I'm not excited to have interviews two days in a row ?

Does anyone know how long the process is and when the start date is for the program?

Hi everyone!

I just applied to 2 hospitals and got sent an invite for an interview right away after I finished the screening survey. However, it said no times available. Did this happen to anyone else? I emailed the recruiter already but I am not sure if that means that theres no spots left to even interview even tho it says the app will be open until January 8. I would've applied faster if I knew it was first come, first serve not used to automatically getting an interview link lmao

which two hospitals did you apply to? They must've really filled up quickly ?

I applied to St. Joseph and St. Jude which were all filled up but I was able to get an interview with Torrance. WBU? The website did say "if no times available email the recruiter for further instruction" so IDK we'll see.
