I just wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP RN Residency  program for new grads applying to the 2024cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, and more!! ☺️

Does anyone know if we need a cover letter? On the Providence site it only mentioned a resume.

Not sure, but I am just preparing to turn one in. Do you know if we need letters of recommendations and how many?

I'm planning to apply to St. Joseph of Orange and Mission Hospital in MV. Anyone know how to write cover letters for both when we don't even know what units we can apply to?

I would just express your interest in the hospital, your experiences/skills, and mention their mission statement and values

Thanks for making this! Does anyone know when the application period opens? I thought it said December 18th but I can't find anything on their website.

Should be under RN Resident.

Does anyone know how long is the program?? Like how many weeks with the preceptor. 

I know like hoag is 12 weeks but on the website says "1year program"

I think it's minimum 6 weeks? But check the FAQ for the TIP program, I think it says. Also when I spoke to a recruiter at Hoag she said they only do 10-12 shifts, not weeks
