Hello, just starting a forum for Providence RN Residency Program - August 2025 Cohort, I currently work at a Providence hospital and got the email saying that internal applications opened 5/30 and external opens 6/6. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

OMG, wait so is that it then? Or should we keep waiting and watching out for our emails 

I haven't heard from Tarzana location and Burbank

IDK why I was expecting everyone to receive an email and it would be first come first serve...

kind of annoying because thats how it was last time and I spent all night waking up checking my email.

Me too... this is my second all nighter for these applications. I had to take time off work

I lost hope, if I applied at 5AM right when it opened and theyre emailing back ppl that applied at 11 I don't think they are reaching out to me...kinda bummed cuz I held a lot of hope for this one

Ugh I know! its OK we will get them next time! Apply to other new grad programs!

I'd still give it a couple hours! all of mine still say under consideration

Extremely annoying that recruiters didn't give us the decency to let us know that it's not the same process this cycle instead of having externals miss work and not know a specific date or time. I went based off the previous application cycles too and also stayed up all night and again stayed up all night to check emails.

Did anyone apply for the Torrance location? If so have you recieved an email to schedule an interview?

Same, it's frustrating because I know I'm a solid applicant and I interview extremely well... But ultimately there are far more solid applicants than positions. This is the second new grad cycle I haven't gotten into a program and frankly the way hospitals handle the program applications is almost universally sloppy, and I'm kind of giving up hope that I'll even get an interview.

That said.....

Congratulations to all that have received interview slots! Try your best to remain calm, breath, practice your interview questions, and enjoy your weekends!
