It really is... I have several years of patient care experience WITH providence, have done several clinical rotations with providence, have done my preceptorship with providence... Still crickets, and the worst part is that I KNOW there are way better applicants than me who didn't get the opportunity to interview... partly just the luck of the draw I guess, if we lived in Missouri or something we could probably walk into a DON position on the spot 😏

Let's hold out hope y'all there only been one person contacted so far. I applied to SJO and SJMC and have not heard anything but my app is still under consideration.

Same my app still says under consideration I've applied to Tarzana and Burbank, has anyone received anything from Tarzana location?

I got contacted this morning for an interview! Its providence in fullerton. I worked with providence 2 years ago, don't have my RN license yet and didn't have clinicals there. Best of luck to everybody, we can do it!!

I have been applying to places for five months now and have not gotten one interview or call back, even from a nursing home. srsly considering moving at this point

It's so difficult out here. I applied to every Providence position and haven't received a thing. Also haven't had any interviews, and I'm 100+ applications in after graduating in December!! Very frustrating and discouraging, but it's strangely comforting to find community in this process. No one is alone in this. Congrats to everyone who received an interview position!!
