Hello, just starting a forum for Providence RN Residency Program - August 2025 Cohort, I currently work at a Providence hospital and got the email saying that internal applications opened 5/30 and external opens 6/6. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

I'm in the same situation! I have not been offered one interview and I have CNA experience and I'm bilingual. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Good luck to you

For anyone that's applied to Providence before and not gotten an interview... did you get an email saying you've been rejected? Or did your application status just eventually update to saying you were rejected? I'm hopeful that I'll get an interview but don't know when I should stop checking my email nonstop LOL

This past cycle they didn't update it to "Not Retained" (which means rejected/or you withdrew an application) & they didn't send rejection emails until MONTHS later. So you basically just go off what people post like if they've got interviews and you'll just know from that

Has anyone received an invite to interview at Providence Mission Hospital?

is it possible that they may be opening up more interview slots at a later date because they said interview invites will start to be sent out today so maybe there's hope?

Last time I believe the rejection letters did not come until the positions were closed, ie interviews conducted and final choices were selected. Which was quite a while later... But because interview slots were filled the same day as the applications opening up you effectively knew you couldn't be chosen once others verified no more slots were available.

We don't know. Sounds like they already have a shortlist and if they want to interview you you'll get an email and most likely have a slot open for you. I have the sense most positions are being allocated for internal applicants which is understandable but sad for us external applicants.

Theres 45+ people on this thread. Only two people, if I'm not mistaken, have gotten an email to schedule an interview for hospitals Burbank and Fullerton. If theres anyone else that has gotten an email to those hospitals or any of the others in LA/OC please let us know. I feel if no one has heard back from other hospitals theres still hope. Given that there are over 45 people on this thread, it seems statistically likely that a few more should have heard back in this bunch. Right? LOL

Yes I agree! I applied to Tarzana and have not seen anyone say they received emails. I have a friend who applied to Burbank and they did receive email already. So we still have hope!

Theres 45 people in this thread but 100s that have applied to these programs...we do not know all the people who got interviews... but heres to hopinh

A lot of people at my college applied to the providences in the SFV and I don't think anyone has gotten an email yet except for internal applicants.
